Welcome to Spirited Love, the "Eduardo and Kylie" fanlisting! This page is a part of Revisiting the Firehouse, a fansite dedicated to the Ghostbusters franchise (particularly Extreme Ghostbusters).
Ed and Ky are bastions of that classic scenario, the "love-hate relationship". Okay, so maybe our boy Eddy often lives up to the stereotype his fellow XGB Garrett slapped on him, that of the lazy good-for-nothing more often than he should; so maybe no one would blame Kylie if she told him to take a long walk off a short pier. But for all his faults, when it comes down to the wire, he shines with a light made all the brighter for his shadows. And Kylie? She's smart, pretty, and one tough cookie; living on her own, she's a survivor. It's no wonder Ed's attracted to her despite himself -- or the fact that she insults him more often than praises. To a shipper, the tension's the thing, and few couples are as tense with each other as these two! But for all their verbal sparring, under the surface lies an obvious affection, one that sadly didn't get to blossom with the untimely demise of the series. Well, there's always fanfiction .... So if you found yourself rooting encouragement at Eduardo's awkward advances and cheering whenever Kylie showed an interest, if you found yourself smiling knowingly when they bickered and came to realise you were scrutinizing every ep for any sort of interaction between them, then you've come to the right place!
